Pharmacy is the one of the most noble and promising profession. They help physicians in prescribing medicines and predicting possible drug interaction in the prescriptions. They are also required in the pharmaceutical industries for production management and quality assurance of various pharmaceutical formulations. They are having a wide opportunity in the pharmaceutical marketing and research. Clinical research is another field with a very high job potential where pharmacy graduates are required. School of Medical Education is offering B.Pharm in 2 centers with an intake of 60 each.
M.Pharm Pharmacology (15 seats) is conducted at Cheruvandoor campus Ettumannor Kottayam. Ph.D in pharmaceutical science is also available in this centre.
M.Pharm pharmaceutics (15 seats) is available at RIMSR Rubber Board P O, Thalappady, Kottayam.
